We are sad to announce that, on April 30, 2026, at the age of 96, Bonnie Jean Minor of Jacksonville, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Chernisky and Emma Jean Chernisky (Forbes); her sister Mary Jane Branham; and her sons-in-law, William H. Baka and Roger A. Stewart.

She is survived by: her husband Robert L. Minor; her daughters, Dianna Baka of O'Fallon, Brenda Stewart of Jacksonville and Mary J. Mang (C. David) of Reno, Nevada; her grandchildren, Kevin Baka (Wendy), Heather Smith (Jake), Monica Grounds (Mark), Rachel Flynn (Josh Belter), Allison Mangiaracino and Stephanie Goodwin (Christopher); her great grandchildren, Collin, Rylee Baka, Mason Smith, Landyn and Adallyn Flynn; and her sister Anna Mae Siebert of Granite City.
