He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Edward and Twyla Roberta Williams Smith; and his sister Jeanne Tepen. He is survived by: his sons, Danny Smith (Linda) of Waverly, Randy Smith (Tona) of Alexander and Darin Smith (Annette) of Alexander; and his grandchildren, Kristy Kennedy (Tom) of Cheyenne, Nathan Smith (Jo) of Chandler, Kelly Riley (David) of Waverly, Mandy Rourke (Rich) of Iowa City, Dusti Larsen (Sam) of Bentonville, Cody Smith (Megan) of Jacksonville, Erin Mattes (Kory Long) of Jacksonville and Kilee Smith (Hayden Moore) of Bettendorf, Iowa. He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
