It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Alan Hickox of Jacksonville, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on March 24, 2022, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard D. "Sonny" Hickox and Joann Powell Hickox. He is survived by: his children, Jason Hickox (Tiffany) and Cortney Bonjean (Bobby); his grandchildren, Riley, Lily, Easton Hickox, Claire and Tatum Bonjean; and his siblings, Beverly Hickox Whitton (late Steve), Billy Hickox (Denise) of Jacksonville and Gary Hickox (Jean) of Jacksonville.
Memorials are suggested to the David Hickox Memorial Scholarship Fund, which is being established to fund scholarships for those desiring a career in public service. Contributions may be made at the funeral home or in care of First National Bank of Arenzville.
