With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Delmar Hoots of Jacksonville, Illinois, born in Griggsville, Illinois, who passed away on November 22, 2020 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Hoots and Lillian Ward Hoots; and his siblings, Reba Martin, George Hoots, Vivian Bunch and Hazel Irene Johnson.

He is survived by: his wife Shelba Fletcher; his sons, Mark Hoots (Peggy) of Jacksonville and Michael Hoots (Kim Tenhouse) of Jacksonville; his grandchildren, Darren Hoots of Collinsville and Amber Hoots of Hanover, Germany; and his sister Mary Bleauer (Enrique) of Cabot, AR..

Due to the pandemic, a private family service will be held, with burial at Memorial Lawn Cemetery.
