It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Don L. Kording of Jacksonville, Illinois, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 19, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George W. Sr. Kording and Viola Kording (Dolenc); his siblings, Mary Lou Hamilton and George W. "Willie" Kording, Jr.; and his brothers-in-law, James Bottom and John McCombs.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Elaine Hinrichs; his children, Scott Kording (Melanie) of Bloomington, Susie Glosier (Adam) of St. Louis, MO and Sherie Trace (Elias) of Jacksonville; his grandchildren, Genevieve and Gideon Kording; his children, Penelope, Franklin, Fitzgerald Glosier, Edison, Henry and Maxwell Trace; his siblings, Diane Bottom of Tallula, Linda McCombs of Petersburg, Robert Kording (Sharon) of Williamsville and David Kording (Kathy) of Eau Claire, WI.; his pet Manny; Don Kording. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other family members; countless dear friends.
