He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Earl Phelps and Dorothy Phelps; his wife Saralyn Green; his daughter Laura McDermott (Jamie); his grandchildren, Sarah Roemeling (Ethan), Liam McDermott, Abigail McDermott and Caleb McDermott; his great grandchild Ruby Roemeling; and his sisters, Marilee Hayashi (Koji) of Boise and Olonda Bateman (Billy). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
