It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dortha Sharon Mangold of Jacksonville, Illinois, who passed away on January 23, 2026, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Dozier and Dortha Highly Dozier; her husband Ronald Mangold; her granddaughters, Shelby and Virginia; and her siblings, Norma Rakes, Walt Dozier and Jim Dozier.
She is survived by: her children, Christine Mangold, Roni Mohan, Matthew Mangold, Glenda Mangold and Jacob Mangold (Laura); and her grandchildren, Connor (Holly), Mackenna (Dillion), Olivia (Hunter), Mayleigh, Everly, Matthew (Brooklyn), Paige, Isabella and Memphis. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
