It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Dwight Egbert of Jacksonville, Illinois, born in Garden City, Kansas, who passed away on April 11, 2024, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Gilbert Egbert and Phyllis Snyder Egbert; and his brother Barry Egbert. He is survived by : his wife Mary Tobin; his son TJ; his granddaughter Rilie; his siblings, Nancy Egbert of Boulder, CO, Tracey Brundrett (Lawrence) and David Egbert of Tulsa, OK; and also, Joe Tobin (Renee), Pat Tobin (Susie), Francie Fanning, Laura Prichard (Randy), Tom Tobin (Nancy), Jeannie Allan (Mike) and Beth Kaufmann (Joe). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A prayer was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 at 4:30 PM at the Williamson Funeral Home (1405 Lincoln Ave, Jacksonville, IL 62650). Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Church of Our Saviour (500 E State St, Jacksonville, IL 62650).

Memorials are suggested to Shriners Hospital for Children or Morgan Conty Animal Control.
