It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Earl Levy of Jacksonville, Illinois, who passed away on January 27, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sarah Latkier and K. C. Levy; his wife Ruby Lee Levy; his children, Lydell Levy, Eva Lois, Mary Lois Levy and Earl Levy, Jr.; and his brothers, Frank Levy and James Levy.
He is survived by: his daughters, Glenella Byrd of Detroit, MI and Ruthie Levy of Detroit, MI; his siblings, Charles Levy (Minnie Levy) of Springfield, IL and Georgia Wardean Fields of Springfield, IL; and his sisters-in-law, Jessie Levy, Mary Levy-Work and Minnie Levy. He is also survived by five grandchildren, fourteen great-grand children and five great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
