We are sad to announce that, on July 3, 2023, at the age of 73, Edward A. Hartke of Jacksonville, Illinois, born in Champaign, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Joseph and Evelyn Hartke (Nelson); and his son James Lee Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Mary L. Long; his children, Brett Hartke (Tonya Dennis) of Jacksonville, Robin Chaudoin (Don) of Alexander and Roberta Lacy (Rick) of Meredosia; his grandson Aden Hartke of Jacksonville; his brothers, Darrell Hartke (Nancy) of St. Louis, MO and Thomas Hartke (Debby) of Arvada, CO; and his nephew Steven Hartke of Arvada, CO.. He is also survived by grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren with one on the way; two great great grandchildren.
