He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett T. Sr. Birdsell and Cordelia R. Bosse Birdsell; his wife Mary Ann Ritchie; his son-in-law Bob McGath; and his siblings, Albert Birdsell and Yvonne Meyer.
He is survived by: his children, Judi McGath of Murrayville, Jacquie Stewart (Willie) of Jacksonville and Doug Birdsell (Karmen) of Jacksonville; and his brother Garry Birdsell of Jacksonville. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; one great-great grandson.
Memorials are suggested to First Baptist Church or Jacksonville Salvation Army.
