He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Means and Mary Catherine Bourn Means; and his brother Robert Means. He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou; his children, Bill Manning of Jacksonville, Shelly Hennessy of Jacksonville and Becky Pennell of Springfield; his grandchildren, Amanda Tomhave, Buddy Hull, Ryan Pennell, Cheyenne Gain, Billy Manning, Kayla Manning and Paige Manning; and his sister-in-law Anna Means of Columbus, OH.. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
