He is survived by: his sons, Joseph Flatt (Samantha) of Jerseyville, Illinois and Jonathan Flatt (Katherine) of Jerseyville, Illinois; his grandchildren, Elaina, Foster, Connor and Hazel; and his sisters, Barbara Hartung and Kathy Zipprich (Robert). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
