With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary L. Donovan of Jacksonville, Illinois, who passed away on July 2, 2022 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Donovan and Mary Servoss Donovan; his daughter Dana Beth; and his siblings, Ellsworth "Cha" Donovan, Delores Edwards, Beverly Meadows, Ted Donovan and Kaye Stice.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Jean Chandler; his daughter Amy Gillespie (Brian); his grandchildren, Evan, Drew and Anna; and his siblings, Bob Donovan (Cathy), Bill Donovan (Karen), Steve Donovan (Barb), Joan Smith, Mary Ann Grebe (Curt) and Karen Callaway (Bill).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Central Christian Church in Jacksonville or Camp Walter Scott in Dieterich, Illinois.
