It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Edward Large of Jacksonville, Illinois, who passed away on March 7, 2023, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James B. Large and Patricia A. Hickle Large; and his siblings, Sandra Ray Large and Michael Benjamin Large. He is survived by: his wife Kimberly Drane Spradlin; his children, Jessica Shaw of Jacksonville, Elizabeth Hatcher (Matt) of Woodson, Emily Turner (Kyle) of Franklin, Joel "J. B." Large (Narise Toma) of Okinawa and Zachary Large of Peoria; his stepdaughter Shelby Wells (Tyler) of Tovey; his grandchildren, Damien, Maizee, Amelya, Evelyn, Everett, Zaiden, Hadley, Lynox, Adalynn and Erin; and his siblings, Robert J. Large (Susan) of Jacksonville, Mark Large (Julie) of Columbus, OH and Cindy Tavender (David) of Jacksonville.
