He was predeceased by: his parents, Orrin Babcock and Margaret Babcock; and his wife Joan R. Donnelly. He is survived by: his children, Gary Babcock (Karen) of Goddard, KS and Mary Lanning of Jacksonville; his grandchildren, Daniel Babcock of Seattle, WA, Holly Babcock-Lamb (Dakota) of Benton, KS, Steven Sills of Woodson and Michael Hills of Jacksonville; and his great grandchildren, Luna and Daisy Lamb.

Memorials are suggested to Alzheimer's Association.
