With profound sadness, we say goodbye to George N. Scott of Jacksonville, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. George left this world on July 19, 2025 at the age of 86, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy and Norma E. Scott Jr. (Decker); his sisters, Phyllis Lindsey and Dixie Hall; and his daughter-in-law Canda Jo Scott (Fernandes).
He is survived by: his children, Stewart Douglas Scott (Sandy Milton) and Elizabeth Ann Ham (Steve); his grandchildren, Rachel Scott-Smith, Evan Scott, Elise Hobbs (Jeremiah), Nathan Ham (Shannon), Wesley Ham (LaDonna) and Carly Quinones (Mike); his great grandchildren, Charlie, Chloe, Kaelyn, Ayverie, Oliver, Ryleigh, Dean and Abel; and his brother Harry Scott (Barbara). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Williamson Funeral Home (1405 Lincoln Ave, Jacksonville, IL 62650). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
