He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard L. Reed and Hazel P. Reed (Martin); and his daughter Mindy DeGroot. He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Ford; his son Scott Reed (Lisa) of Jacksonville; his stepchildren, Teri McMinn (Chris) of Jacksonville, Rick Crawford (Stacy Daniels) of Roodhouse, Tim Crawford (Kitty) of Godfrey and Kim Schutz (J. R.) of Patterson; and his sisters, Phyllis Lacy (Ron) and Doris Arnold (late Larry). He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
