He is survived by: his wife Lynne Thomas; his children, Justin Philpott (Alyssa) of Girard, Adam Philpott of Jacksonville, Evan Philpott of Jacksonville and Megan Philpott of Jacksonville; his grandchildren, Nick Philpott and Calla Lonergan; and his sister Sally Munson (Terry). He is also survived by his wife, children, and grandchildren.
