It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Edward Scott of Jacksonville, Illinois, who passed away on November 18, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward A. Scott and Inez H. Scott (Houston); his son James; his stepson Eric Todd Moore; and his wife Charlyn Kay Scott.
He is survived by: his sister Judy Woolfolk of Franklin; his children, Kim Hamilton (Chris) of Chatham, Kevin Scott (Sara) of Chapin, Krista Scott and Mexico; his grandchildren, Alexa, Cole Hamilton and Troy Scott; and his stepgranddaughter Kylan Gregory.
