Jane Mudd Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 3, 2025, at the age of 65, Jane Mudd of Jacksonville, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Jane leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Phillip Gustafson and Shirley Gustafson (Sandeen); and her brother Phillip Gustafson. She is survived by: her husband James Mudd of Jacksonville; her son Joey Mudd of Chicago; her sister Janet Rucks of Jacksonville; and her niece Kristin Rucks Wellenkamp (John) of Jacksonville.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hinchliff-Pearson-West, Inc. (1070 W Fremont St, Galesburg, IL 61401).
