Janet Staples Obituary

The passing of Janet Staples of Jacksonville, Illinois leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on September 18, 2025 at the age of 87. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Maurice Walsh and Alma Flynn Walsh; her husband Robert W. Staples; and her sisters, Rosemary Day, Pauline Newport, Martha "Mickey" Beadles, Marjorie Verry and Frances Lovekamp.

She is survived by: her sons, Michael Staples of Port Charlotte, Patrick Staples (Terri) of Jacksonville, John Staples of Jacksonville and Edward Staples of Springboro, Ohio; and her grandchildren, Katelyn, Haley, Jessica, Samantha, Jacob, Danielle, Andrea, Wesley, Skylar, Kyra, Bailey, Jack, Charlie and Elizabeth. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
