It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean E. Wardell of Jacksonville, Illinois, who passed away on January 27, 2023, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Wardell and Ruby Smith Wardell. She is survived by: her siblings, Jack Wardell (Mary) of Murrayville, Jim Wardell (Louetta) of Murrayville, Jerry Wardell (Brenda) of Jacksonville and Janet Hayes (Edward) of Jacksonville; and her cousins, Robert Smith and Paul Smith. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
