She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Oron Oscar and Marian Ruth Zimmerman (Endicott); her sons, Erin Bergren (Margaret) and Shan Hays (Nicole); her grandchildren, Kayla Hays, Roan Bergren, Miriam Bergren, Astrid Bergren, Jeanice Gustamonte, Stetson Hays and Cade Connors (Ben); her great grandchildren, Lyla Gustamonte, Liam Gustamonte, Colton Dillon, Steven Dillon, Ronin Dillon and Percy Connors; her siblings, Conrad Zimmerman, Oron Zimmerman Jr., Phyllis Freeman and Karla Edwards; her former husband Joel Hays; and her grandson Callum Hays. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
