He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Tobin and Patricia Tobin (Henry); his niece Emily (Stuart Hilton); his wife Catherine Tobin; his children, Kelly, Abby Tobin (Nick Cook) of Jacksonville and Chance Spadt (Brittany) of Albany; his grandchild Indy Spadt of Albany, Oregon.; his sisters, Kathleen Langdon (Philip) of Jacksonville and Kristina Bradley (Jeff) of Jacksonville; his siblings-in-law, Carole Tobin of Bethalto, Mary Bousquet, Michelle Bousquet, Dorothy Bousquet and Joseph Bousquet of Palm Springs, California.; his pets, Finn and Luna; his brother Greg Tobin; his brother-in-law Michael Bousquet; his grandparents, Edward, Betty Tobin, Helen and Merv Henry; his stepgrandfather Jack Glisson; and his pets, Addie, Milo, Jazzy and Lilly. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
A prayer was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 3:30 PM and from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Williamson Funeral Home (1405 Lincoln Ave, Jacksonville, IL 62650). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Church of Our Saviour View. A burial was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at the Calvary Cemetery.
