He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Zephia Murphy and Nina Belle Gibson Murphy; his wife Margaret Louise Dobson; his children, Sue Ellen Shanahan (late Jerry Shanahan), Mary Jane Murphy Thomas, Grace Ann Murphy Doolin and Patric Michael Murphy; his great grandchildren, Audrey Lorraine Moore Burnett, Kathryn Erin Shanahan, Kelsey Marie Shanahan and Kacy Colleen Shanahan Wallsmith (Matthew Ray Wallsmith); his daughter Marge Coufal; Amie Madelyn Burnett, Adler Cole Wallsmith, Holder Owen Wallsmith, Randall Michael Murphy, Jessica Marie Murphy Stepka (Joe Stepka), Emily Louise Thomas Hall, Sarah Nell Thomas Graham (Shad Joseph Graham), Izac Joseph Graham (Payton Leigh), Hailey Elena Graham, Alexis Murphy Payne (Michael Lynn Payne), Franklin Murphy Payne and Henry Harold Payne. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews and their children.
