He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Elmer Jones, Sr. and Rose Marie Jones (McFadden); his son Shawn Dean Kerley; and his brother Jack Jones. He is survived by: his children, David Kerley, Atoya Jones-Williams (Michele), Don Gimbel (Molly), Terry Gimbel, Jessica Mullens (Jeremy) and Joshua Jones (Kathryn). He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren; several cousins; and a plethora of other family members.
