He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Joseph and Betty Lou Brant (Hoots); his grandparents, Carl and Mary Hoots; and his brother Randy Fanning.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Provo; his son Mike Brant (Ashley) of Jacksonville; his grandchildren, Ty Brant (Kilee), Trey Brant and Kya Brant; his great grandchildren, Micaela, Theo and Marceline; and his siblings, Robin Fanning, Rod Fanning, Sherwood Brant (Chris) and Nedra Brant. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Williamson Funeral Home (1405 Lincoln Ave, Jacksonville, IL 62650). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
