He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester "Chet" Thomas and Glenna Walker Thomas; his wife Sally C. Anders; and his sister Joyce Weder (John). He is survived by: his children, John Thomas II (Mindy) of Winchester, Shane Thomas of Jacksonville and Heather Zulauf (Doug) of Murrayville; his grandchildren, Gavyn Thomas, Jaxon Thomas, Rylan Thomas and Kyle Zulauf; and his brothers, Jeff Thomas (Kelly) of Winchester and Ronnie Thomas of Winchester. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to help with funeral expenses.
