He is survived by: his son Herschel E. (Norma G. Grant Carriger); his parents, Herschel Carriger and Norma Carriger of Chapin; his siblings, Barbara Gatlin (Charles) of Jacksonville, Jerry Dean Carriger of Chapin, Daniel Carriger (Julia) of Chapin and Shane Carriger (Monica) of Bluffs; and his nieces and nephews, Jodie DeGroot (Cyndi), Jeffery DeGroot (Barb Brewer), Samuel Carriger (Trona), Randall Carriger (Levi), Eric Carriger, Brian Carriger (Amanda), Ashleigh Archer and Meghan Miller (Kaleb). He is also survived by several great nieces and nephews and several aunts and uncles.
