He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn L. Deemer and Bernadine D. Wheeler Deemer; his grandparents, A. T., Gladys Nelson, Paul and Virginia Wheeler; and his aunts, Velma Katelinek and Jacqueline Gallaher (Mark Chenoweth).
He is survived by: his significant other Joan McQuillan; his mother-in-law Wanda Miller; his brothers-in-law, Fred Miller (Sue), Jay Miller, Steven Miller (Jane), Kevin Miller (Michele), Kent Miller and Kerry Miller (Lia); Taylor Miller, Abby Miller, Peter Chenoweth (Kristen), Donna Chenoweth and Meghan Chenoweth. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials are suggested to be made to Memorial Home Hospice, Simmons Cancer Institute, or Illinois College to benefit students traveling abroad or students enrolled in the education program.
