Larry McGrath Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on October 18, 2025, at the age of 71, Larry McGrath of Jacksonville, Illinois passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Larry McGrath to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George McGrath and Helen McGrath; and his brother James "Tim" Timothy McGrath. He is survived by: his children, Shane McGrath, Laura Fanning (Jon Fanning) and Kathleen "Kat" McGrath (Tony Seaborn); and his grandchildren, Madison, Morgan Fanning, Shane Jr. and Mason McGrath. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.

While donations can be made to the Breakthrough T1D (Type 1 Diabetes; formally the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) in Larry's honor, we simply ask that everyone celebrate his life through stories and laughter.
