Dionne; his son Dr. Gregory Pate (Robbins); his grandchildren, Hannah Pate Jung, Michael, Adam and Landon Pate; his great grandchild Elise Rose Jung; his stepdaughters, Diane Evans of Jacksonville and Dana Wright (Angie) of Glendale, AZ; his stepgrandchildren, Blaire Larson (John) and Brooke Hoots (Andrew); his stepgreat-grandchildren, Olivia Larson, Mallory Hoots, Noah Larson and Myles Hoots; and his siblings, Marty Morthole (late Steve) of Jacksonville, Harry Pate (Vicky) of Murrayville and James "Jim" Pate (Sheila) of Jacksonville.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Daws Family Funeral Home - Jacksonville (508 W Vandalia Rd, Jacksonville, IL 62650). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Murrayville City Cemetery.
