We are sad to announce that on January 29, 2024, at the age of 97, Lucille Mae Akers of Jacksonville, Illinois, born in Quincy, Illinois passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lucille Mae Akers to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Ernie and Sadie Deege; and her husband Melvin Akers. She is survived by : her daughters, Judy Jacobs Murrieta (Gary) and Jewel Donathan (Rocky); and her great grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Carter, Clayton and Rylee Jacobs.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the El Toro Memorial Park (25751 Trabuco Rd, Lake Forest, CA 92630). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 14th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at 5365 Algarrobo, Laguna Woods, CA 92637.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests any donations to be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation, to cure Parkinson's disease.
