She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles Pires and Virginia Pires; her stepson David Kane; her stepgreat-grandson Wyatt Oakman; and her stepfather Clyde Vasconcellos.
She is survived by : her husband Cornell J. Kane; and her stepchildren, Phyllis Kane Rowley (Mike), Linda Kane Cornett and Larry Kane. She is also survived by 11 step-grandchildren, 25 step-great grandchildren.
