Marilyn L. Curless Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marilyn L. Curless of Jacksonville, Illinois, who passed away on December 15, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Matthews and Judith Matthews (Cooper); her spouse Donal Dean Curless; and her sisters, Betty Matthews and Barbara McBride.
She is survived by: her sons, Ryan Curless (Anne) of Chatham, Matthew Curless of Jacksonville and Nicholas Curless (Ronny) of Jacksonville; her grandchildren, Liam, Finnegan Curless, Erin Curless, Jera and Theo Waters; and her siblings, Linda Green of East Peoria and Bob Matthews (Laura) of Brighton, Michigan.. She is also survived by mother, and proud grandmother who found great joy in her family.
Memorial donations may be made in Marilyn's name to the First Baptist Church.
