She was predeceased by: her brother Jim; her sister-in-law Jacque Williams; and her stepgrandson Eli. She is survived by: her children, Sam Thornton (Tracy), Doug Thornton (Shirley) and Susan Lansaw (John); her stepchildren, Pat Hemenway and Becky Hoff (David); her grandchildren, Erica Zahradka, Jennifer Snook (Shane), Jacob Thornton, Aimee Zurliene (Taylor), Allison Roberts (Kerry), Joe Thornton (Mel), Josh Thornton (Sara), Lydia Lansaw (Tanner Gress) and Belle Lansaw; and her sister Doris Myatt (Dave). She is also survived by three step-great grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; nine step-great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial gifts be made to the Scott County Nursing Center in Winchester, IL.
