She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Otis and Lucille Stewart (Delong); her spouse Gene A. Retzer; and her sons, Orville and Kenny Venable.
She is survived by: her children, Stephen Retzer (Debbie) of Jacksonville, Daniel Retzer (Connie) of Rockford and Susan Mickey (Bob) of Belvidere; and her grandchildren, Sarah Lashmett (Jackson) of Winchester, Angela Turner (Darrell) of Jacksonville, Allison Retzer of Tallahassee, FL, Caitlin Retzer of Rockford and Samuel Retzer of Rockford. She is also survived by four great granddaughters; two great grandsons, one great-great grandson and one great-great grandson on the way; and one sister.
