With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marvin Ford (Jacksonville, Illinois), who passed away on October 5, 2025 at the age of 94. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marvin Ford to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. Ford and Frances Edwards Ford; his wife Judy; his son Tom; and his brother Floyd (late Mary Jane).
He is survived by: his children, Tammi Dewitt (Roger), Timm (Nina) of Jacksonville and Benjamin (Tahnya) of Jacksonville; his grandchildren, Melista Ashbaugh (Andy) of Springfield and Guenevere Ford of Springfield; his sons, Layna Colclasure (Dusty Lieb) of Jacksonville, Jack Ford (Cheyenne Burns) of Jacksonville and Eden Ford of Jacksonville; and his siblings, Frances "Bea" Edwards (late Bill) and James (Jeanne) of Jacksonville. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and -nephews, and great-great-nieces.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Williamson Funeral Home (1405 Lincoln Ave, Jacksonville, IL 62650). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to JHS Athletics, Shriners Hospitals for Children, or Lincoln Land Honor Flight.
