She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Thomas and Mary Mabel Summers Sellars; her husband Richard Allen Brogdon; and her sister Sylvia Saffer. She is survived by: her children, Connie Lewis (Paul) of Jacksonville and Rod Brogdon (Kim) of Jacksonville; her grandchildren, Mindi Johnson (Chris) of Jacksonville, Stephanie Adams (Luke) of Jacksonville and Brittani Wardell (Jon) of League City, Texas; her great grandchildren, Kennadi, Kamdyn, Kai Johnson, Jacob, Julia Adams, Harper and Graham Wardell; and her sister Mary Steelman (Tom) of Winchester.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Williamson Funeral Home (1405 Lincoln Ave, Jacksonville, IL 62650). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society or Cass-Schuyler Area Hospice.
