With sadness, we share the passing of Mike Kropp in Jacksonville, Illinois. Mike, born on September 1, 1947, passed away on August 30, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Mike for his warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. While he will be deeply missed, the influence he had on the lives around him remains. He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin Kropp and Arloween "Arlie" Johnson (Murry); and his brother Charles Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his daughters, Leslie Jennings (Jim) of Mt. Sterling and Kelley Hill (Mike) of Mt. Sterling; and his granddaughters, Lauren Jennings of Mt. Sterling, Lindsey Jennings of Brooklyn, NY and Vanessa Hill of Mt. Sterling.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hendricker Funeral Home (406 S Capitol Ave, Mt Sterling, IL 62353). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
