Mitzie Lou Marsh Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mitzie Lou Marsh of Jacksonville, Illinois, who passed away on May 5, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Slavens and Constance Louise Hale Slavens; her husband James "Buck" Marsh; her stepfather David Wilson; and her siblings, Mendy Leonard, Marti Slavens and Mathew Wilson.

She is survived by: her children, James (J. B.), Jeremy Meyer of Jacksonville, Mae Van Driest (John) of Appleton, WI and Jakeb Marsh (Ashley Scott) of Jacksonville, IL; her grandchildren, James, Aidan Marsh, Jack and Anna Van Driest; her siblings, Monte Slavens (Jane) of Arenzville and Michele Gebhardt (Rich); her siblings-in-law, Jeff Leonard of Jacksonville and Candy Slavens of Bellevue, NE.; and her great-niece Caylee Gaige. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
