With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nathan Jonest Eisfelder of Jacksonville, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 2, 2025 at the age of 22. He is survived by: his parents, Aaron Eisfelder and Misty Eisfelder (Shepard); his brothers, Jadon, Joer, Evan and William Eisfelder; his grandparents, John, Barbara Eisfelder of Jacksonville, Michael and Deena Shepard of Jacksonville; his uncles, Mark Shepard (Stacy) of Maple Grove and Micah Shepard (Kristen) of Jacksonville; his aunt Rachel Carson (Tanner) of Montrose, Colorado; and his cousins, Ella Shepard, Addison Shepard and Alyssa Shepard.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lincoln Avenue Baptist Church (951 Lincoln Ave, Jacksonville, IL 62650). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at the Diamond Grove Cemetery.
