She was predeceased by: her parents, Amon Curtis and Lorena Curtis (Cooper); her husband John "Jack" McCurley, Sr.; her son John McCurley, Jr.; and her brothers, Edgar, Thomas and Alvin Curtis.
She is survived by: her son Charles McCurley (Debra) of Kingsville, MO; her grandsons, Andrew Marshall, Joseph McCurley (Stacy Moretti) and Michael McCurley (Shayla); her great grandchildren, Devin, Lily, Emma Marshall and Gage McCurley (Taylor); her great great grandchild Haven McCurley; and her sister Genevieve Bryant.
