She was predeceased by: her parents, Bruce Newman and Mary Smith Newman; and her brothers, Larry and Doug. She is survived by: her children, David Buhlig (Dawn) of Meredosia and Katrina Buhlig of Champaign; her grandchildren, Candace Buhlig (Shylo Valdes), Shelbie Flath (Daniel) and Jacob Buhlig; and her siblings, Thomas Newman (Lori) and Gayle Fanshier (Frank). She is also survived by four great grandchildren.
