He was predeceased by: his parents, Manning Eugene and Clara Cline Gardner; and his siblings, Walter Gardner, Francis Gardner, Alma Lancaster, Julia Archer and Dorothy Bounds.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Garner; his children, Michael Gardner (Sammie) of Arenzville and Sherry Gregory (Tony) of Chapin; his grandchildren, Shannon Ham, Jessica Saylor and Dallas Gregory; and his great grandchildren, Charlie, Chloe Ham, Dea', Coltin Saylor and David Gregory. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
