It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Peggy Post of Jacksonville, Illinois, born in Hillview, Illinois, who passed away on July 11, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Warren and Frances Marie Miller Campbell; her husband Eugene Edwin Post; and her brothers, Don, Bob, Ken and Sam Campbell.

She is survived by: her children, Marsha Nelson (John) of Jacksonville, Mike Post (Michelle) of Versailles and Matt Post (Jackie) of Arenzville; her grandchildren, Emily Hawley (Steven) of Maryville, Greg Nelson (Jessi) of Jacksonville, Joshua Post (Dana) of St. Louis, Jordan Post of Jacksonville, Jenna Schnitker (Brian) of Arenzville, Mallory Simpson of Versailles, Jessica Simpson (Jared) of Jacksonville, Joe Simpson (Morgan) of Mt. Sterling, Jessica Bennett (Brian) of Scotland and Jacob Post of Arenzville; and her siblings, Jim Campbell (Lynn) of Advance and Mary Roodhouse of Greenville. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
