He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond H. Higdon and Lillian Gertrude Pullum Higdon; and his siblings, Bonnie, Ray, Jim, Ron and Kenny.
He is survived by: his children, Mirtie Marshall (Scott) of Jacksonville and Andy Higdon (Jenny) of San Diego, California; his grandchildren, Clare Marshall, Meaghan Marshall, Brooklyn Marshall, Ryan Higdon and Jacob Higdon; and his stepchildren, Melanie Jones and John L. Clifford. He is also survived by five step-grandchildren.
