He was predeceased by: his mother Linda Watt Hembrough. He is survived by: his former wife Terri Stovall; his children, Rob Benton (Derek Kenneaster) of Marion, Teddy Hembrough (Ashley) of Jacksonville, Anna Hyatt (Frank) of Sarasota, Christopher Hembrough of Cedar Rapids and Jessie Chaudoin of Jacksonville; his grandchildren, Case, Cayl Hembrough1 and George Hyatt; his father Robert Hembrough (Jean) of Jacksonville; and his siblings, Joyce Hembrough of Jacksonville, LeeAnn Hembrough of O'Fallon, Mike Prather (Dana) of Jacksonville and Terri Prather of Jacksonville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A private service will be held at a later date with plans for a Celebration of Life to be announced when the pandemic ends.
