He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Knepler and June Heinlein Knepler; his parents-in-law, Charles and Mary Lou Tozer; and his brothers-in-law, Kevin Brodie, Bruce Handlin, Ace and Doc.
He is survived by: his spouse Kim Tozer; his siblings, John Knepler (Lyn) of Bowling Green, Nancy Brodie of Jacksonville, Karen Emerson of Missoula, Betty Gibson (Pat) of Jacksonville, Gary Knepler (Mary) of Frisco, Texas and Charles; and his sisters-in-law, Roni Tozer of Springfield and Becky Handlin of Rochester. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Williamson Funeral Home (1405 Lincoln Ave, Jacksonville, IL 62650). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
